Very heavy Plaque USS L. MENDEL RIVERS (SSN 686). Plaque is 13-5/8″ X 9-3/4″ and wood backing is 16-1/4″ X 12-5/8″. Regarding the plaque with the quote from the Constitution: (1). White Star Flatware like this item were used typically by First Class passengers, the most affluent people in society. This spoon likely survived the maritime disaster by leaving the ship with a survivor. Possibly silverplated (not tested) teaspoon features the White Star Line flag stamped into the handle. Curved Turkish Ottoman Empire Officer Sword was famous for being commonly used for hand-to-hand combat. This sword is 100% authentic and is from the 1800’s time period.
